My brother died two days ago
04.26.05 (11:18 pm)   [edit]

My brother

He was killed while doing army service here.
He was an amazing man. Better person than I ever was.
Serious, but always up for a laugh.
He was surrounded by friends who loved him.
He had lots of friends. From university, from the army, some from childhood.
He always volunteered first. Took initiative.
I miss you Tsiki.

Fatigue
04.13.05 (4:49 am)   [edit]
Do you know how that feels?

Lately that's how I feel..

It makes no difference how much I sleep, or the time in which I go to sleep. I wake up okay, get to work.. do some work, and than start feeling totally tired. As if I've been climbing a mountain the last couple of hours!

I get sleepy, I start yawning, I lose concentration and find it hard to focus on what people are saying or follow a conversation.

What do you do when you totally lose focus? do you have ways to fight it?

Decisions
04.07.05 (5:31 am)   [edit]

People make decisions every day.

I'm not talking about those everyday decisions..

I am talking about the paramount decisions we make. The "Big Ones". Quitting a job, Buying a house, Ending a relationship.. This kind.

How many of those have you been faced with in the last... year or so?

How do you make these decisions? do you flip a coin? consult with friends? talk to a shrink?

Do you try and avoid these decisions all together? Rather stay in a rotting pond 'cause its nice and cosy, and who knows what awaits in the great unknown beyond?

Or maybe you enjoy the decision making? the changes that follows? see it as an adventure to begin and can't wait to start exploring?

I'd like to hear views and opinions of all kinds and directions :)

Computer. R.I.P
04.03.05 (6:25 am)   [edit]
End of my Computer

Sadly, on Thursday, the 31st of March 2005, My PC cycled its last cycle..

It was a good computer, it served me well.

It went out quietly, just crashed and turned itself off at once, never to come back..

Fortunately, I believe in dualism. Whenever something sad happens, something happy follows - to balance things out.

So, In a week (hopefully), I will have my new PC.. Stronger.. Tougher.. Better! :)

But for now, I'm forced to spend a week with no PC. (aside from my work PC, on which I'm writing right now)

It will be hard, but I do believe the experience will be for the best.. wish me luck on the redrawal symptoms..

And to other news: The pope has passed away.

As I am Jewish, and Israeli, this piece of news should be of little interest to me, however.. That particular pope was a really good person on all accounts. He cleared the jews of the historical "jesus crucifiction" which kind of made us the scape goats of the entire christian world..

And he was one world/country leader who used his power only to benefit people, never to hurt them.

So, from my little corner of the world I say: God save his soul! and I'm certain that if there's heaven, he's got a good front row seat there :)
