Over the course of years we fall in and out of love with our chosen partners. Like waves, in a way. It's just the way it is, I think. However, if we decide to be loving at all times (which means as often as possible) entailing all the things one might guess as well as deciding to overlook faults we know perfectly well are there plain as day in our parner's make-up as a human being, (in fact, being blind to them would be a better way to say it) then we give ourselves the opportunity to be "in love" with our partners for longer and longer periods of time as the years pass and eventually the resulting love is - or can be - far deeper and more satisfying than any infatuation ever could be. And we all know the intensity of those feelings, cuz we've ALL experienced them during our lives. Of course it can't work if only one person in the relationship has made the decision to love. Yipes... sorry.
